Angelina Jolie has been known in the past for her eccentric nature and has had a couple of tattoos since becoming a super star. Angelina Jolie's tattoos all seem to have had some reason behind them, either a good memory or an important event in her life. Her body has become a living diary of some of the important events in her life and even some events that would be scribbled out or erased in a journal, she has removed or covered up, like the Billy Bob Thornton tattoo for example. The next tattoo is the one on Angelina's left shoulder which is a Buddhist Sanskrit prayer of protection for her family. This tattoo is very detailed, original, and well done. |

Angelina Jolie's tattoo on her left forearm is a great quote from Tennessee Williams, "A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages" which is devoted to those who do not live or have not lived to their fullest. Her tattoo on her right forearm is Arabic writing. |

Two tribal symbols are also right below the dragon and the whole lower back looks like a great conglomeration. Unique, interesting, and with some great symbolism. |
